Fishing

On first cast, we caught a turtle.  Then, we continued to try for the fish.  We weren't successful but we had fun trying.
Poor little turtle.  He did get loose before we had to cut the line.
 Trenton learning how to fish.
Trenton and Daddy hoping for a fish!
Daddy was a good helper.  Bennett looks forward to fishing with the big boys one day but his little net had to do for now.  I'm reminded by how big he is getting by this picture.

Crisp Fall Mornings

What a fun morning we had in our new house!  We took a walk around the HILLY neighbhorhood at the butt crack of dawn (literally, it was still dark when we started!)  It certainly is a harder workout in this neighborhood!  Momma looks like a fool with the stroller at her head level as she pushes it up with steep roads.  We love it when Daddy can come and push. :)  Then, we played in the driveway upon arriving home.  Hopefully we didn't wake our neighbors!  Next we had an egg scrambler breakfast on the screened in porch as a family, and finally dug in the sandbox afterward.  Bennett was not ready to nap this morning because of all this excitement so we let him skip it and attend our friend's birthday party.  He was happy.  We loved the crisp fall air and look forward to many more fall weekends just like this!
It's family breakfast time outside!  Woohoo!
The playtime while we are still in our pjs.

New House

Well, we are excited to be settle (as much as we can for now!) and blessed to have such a perfect place in our eyes to raise our family!
Top 10 New House Favorites:
1.  Space!  (In every room!)
2.  A screened in porch to eat, relax and play on.  We love the treetop view and are an outdoorsy family!
3.  A big kitchen with a pantry.  No more food expiring because it's hiding in the back of a cabinet.
4.  A nice yard with a flat driveway in a cult de sac.  We don't even make it in the house each afternoon because they're ready to run around.
5.  A basement for the playroom.  It can stay messy and you just have to close a door.
6.  The unfinished area for storage!  Having holiday, party, old baby items and out of season clothes on the premise is rather wonderful.
7.  A guest room again!  Who's coming to visit?
8.  A jacuzzi tub to relax in (when I have the time!)
9.  A kitchen level garage with the bare minimum since we can store items in the unfinished area of the basement.  I can hear the kids in the garage as I bring groceries into the house.
10.  Being 5 minutes from my parents in a wonderful, kid-friendly neighborhood.  Hooray for babysitters and friends to play with!
We love our new home!
 Family Room
Which leads into the formal living room.  Not so formal, haha!  It will be one day but it's our main level playroom for the time being.
Nice big foyer and the French front doors.
The rug on the stairs is unique and elegant.
Love the landing at the top of the stairs.  Had to child-proof it with sturdy, clear, plastic since Bennett could fit right through it.  You can't even seen it!  Yay!
 Dining room
 kitchen
Love the cherry wood and back splash.
There is plenty of seating with the bar stools.
We bought the previous owners' kitchen table.  It is a cool bench type....long, spacious and ideal for kids!
 Master bedroom
 Master bath
Kevin loves the double vanities.  What's he sayin'?  That I have a lot of junk?
Jacuzzi tub and French doors leading into the bedroom.
Trenton's dino-mite room!  He loves his dinosaur theme!
He has an awesome view of Black Jack Mnt from his window.
 Bennett's baby zoo animal room.
 Guest bath
Enormous guest bedroom.  The kids don't know what to do with all the floor space in there.  They just roll around and think it is hilarious.
It's a bedroom/office combo due to its massive size.
Back stairs leading to the laundry room from this room.  Trenton likes the backstairs and asks to take them all the time.
Screened in porch.  Love, love, love!  It's perfect for entertaining!
 Deck off of it.
Nice area for grill, green egg and sandbox!
One stair case leads to the hot tub and the other to the woods.
Real playroom in the basement.  Room 1....soon to have a couch and tv.  It's needed for football!
 Room 2
Closet.....thanks GiGi for your organizational skills!
 Room 3.
 Storage
and more storage!  Woot, woot!
