This and That Errands
So after church we had two things on our plate. One, get Trenton's baseball clothing/equipment. I knew he needed pants, but who knew a 4 year old needed cleats and a cup? Lots to buy! And, two, lunch. Who knew they had these table computer games at Chili's. Haha!
Bennett kept himself entertained at SportsBennett was all about the Alphabet Game.

Water Balloons
Who knew water balloons could be so fun? They boys were super excited when they woke up from naps to find a bucket full of water balloons for them to play with. Kevin and I sat in chairs and watched them run the yard crazily.
When there was a hole in the balloon, they were even more excited.Bennett loved running to the end of the driveway and launching it.
Sometimes they just wouldn't pop.
Oh the joy!
And watching was just as good.
Here is the mischievous grin. I see a water balloon coming our way!
Elephant Day at the Zoo
We didn't realize it was Elephant Day at the zoo, but had an extra fun time exploring these animals. The boys colored and painted, donated $.96 in recognition of the 96 elephants killed per day in Africa, and learned a lot about poaching (well, Trenton did!) Apparently Atlanta's the number 1 airport for ivory trafficking. Sad.
The boys' gifts from their trip. B got Ginger a stuffed giraffe and Trenton got something that does something. He's notorious for the strange items. Ironically, I made elephant sandwiches for lunch with a cookie cutter not even knowing about elephant day. Bennett's favorite part was watching the elephants get bathed. Trenton liked going on the mystery hunt with Daddy.
Now We're Kickin'
We went back to school shoe shopping. I think the boys favorite thing in the world is tennis shoes, but due to the heat, we encourage their Keens until is slightly starts getting cool in the mornings. Although we technically aren't wearing our running shoes everyday, they definitely put them on the day we bought them. Not only did we wear them out of the store, we even went up to the high school's track to test them out!
New (fast!) running shoes :)Running at the track.

Back to School Pizza Friday
All the kids hold up their grade level/teacher signs.
I can't believe this is Trenton's last year before kindergarten. I'm milking the fact my baby just has a sitter for one more year. Bennett in preschool would be just too grown up for me!
The boys eating their pizza.
Liz made these adorable goodie bags for the kids.
Trenton loved all his special school treats!
Each items was tied directly to school. So, so, so cute!!!We roasted s'mores at dark before calling it a night. Good thing we aren't quite on school schedule bedtimes yet! :)
