Fishing

It was another beautiful weekend in Marietta. We met up with Opa and Granna at Roswell Park so Mommy and Daddy could train for the Peachtree Roadrace this summer. (Daddy also wanted to cast a few lines!) When we got there, Trenton was asleep from the car ride, so Daddy decided to fish a little while I waited to feed him once he woke up. He hadn't even set down his backpack before he had a fish on the line! Talk about getting excited about fishing! It usually doesn't come that easy to us. We kid around that Trenton must be Daddy's good luck charm! Once Trenton woke, he enjoyed stretching out and playing on the blanket. It was so pleasant in the shade. He soon fell back asleep and took the longest nap ever. Guess he really enjoyed the fresh air and nature sounds around him! We ended up staying for most of the day. It was unbelievable, after our run and lunch, Trenton was still asleep so Daddy was able to fish some more. He ended up catching five fish that day--the most ever since I've known him.

Although we kept Trenton in the shade, he somehow got a little sunburned on the side of his face. Mommy felt terrible, but it really didn't seem to both him--thank goodness! We'll be extra careful from now on with his delicate skin, especially since the summer is approaching.

Trenton can't keep his eyes off the fish Daddy caught.

Daddy caught 5 bass. This was just a little one.

Trenton was absolutely adorable in his little hat.
