Party of 2 1/2, Please

Wednesday nights in our house were date nights.  Trenton went to spend the night with Granna and Opa these nights and always has the time of his life.  You can't even mention Granna and Opa's too early, really not until you are either walking out the door or they are already at your house to pick him up, because he is packing his Woody and Buzz Lightyear (he now actually says both of Buzz's names together which is cute!) suitcase and hugging you good-bye.  And if you are not in the midst of departing, he breaks down.  There is something special to him about their house!  Anyways, we love this, I mean LOVE this!  Now that Bennett is in the picture, we decided date nights didn't need to stop.  It is so nice to get out of the house, not cook, not clean dishes, and just relax, so date nights continue and for the time being we bring along our third wheel, Bennett! 

2 Week old: Pappasitos.....Yum!  Fajitas!  Bennett slept through this outing completely, I mean, 45 min wait and all.  Daddy was in awe and told Bennett he was welcome anytime with this behavior.  (We are used to chasing around a 2 year old--some of you may understand!)

3 Weeks old: Nava.....We love our Buckhead Life Dining Out Cards!  For years we have been a part of their program and love the summer, montly restaurant selections.  Nava's Southwestern flare kicked it off for the month of June.  We had a patio seat and live music.  Bennett was awake for this adventure but sat wide-eyed in my arms staring at the world around him never making a peep.  Comments galore came in about our precious little one.  Gotta love that as a mom!  :)  Who would have thought this upscale restaurant would even have had a changing table?! 

Now, the 4th of July is next Wednesday followed by Daddy's poker night with the guys the next, so date nights will pick up again mid July with reservations to Chops and Sugo already.  Bennett hope you stay on your best behavior so you get to join us some more!
