Santa Visits Marietta

The Santa party hosted by the Powell Family is always a huge hit in our household.  Who wouldn't enjoy Santa visiting you in the comfort of a house, without crowds/lines, and in an intimate setting where the kids can interact for hours with Jolly ol' Saint Nick?

From the first year, Trenton has adored Santa.  Some kids are petrified of  the man in the red and white suit but not our children.  Bennett followed suit like his brother.  He easily joined Santa's lap after waking from his beginning of the party nap.  Trenton was excited to find out that Chippey had indeed been reporting to Santa at the North Pole about his good deeds of helping with Bennett and being a nice big brother.  He encourage Trenton to not whine, too.  :)

It was a fun night of singing Christmas carols, prancing donkeys around the house, wearing Rudolph noses, reading holiday tales, and talking with Santa.  Trenton was happy to see that Santa knew he liked Spiderman and brought him a special toy made by his elves.  Bennett also got some stacking cups as a present from Santa.  That was so nice!  See you again next year Santa!
The first to always greet Santa, our brave Trenton boy runs to the door without any hestitation!
Two happy boys sitting on Santa's lap!
Bennett tries to take in all the activity from Santa Claus.
It's exhausting.  Let me rest up.
The fun continues with red noses and donkeys.
Trenton listens intently as Santa explains all that Chippey has told him.
How's Santa know I love Spiderman?!!!
Trenton helps Bennett unwrap his stacking cups.
Everyone was happy with their new toys!
