Brown Bag Lunches

Brown bag lunches in the Marietta Square are always fun with the boys.  Bennett is finally learning to gnaw on food and not choke.  This week, rice rusks have been a hit.  We're making progress!

Burning Energy

It was an extended bedtime tonight because of the drive home from the lake.  We let the boys tire themselves back out in the backyard.  They loved the pop up tunnel, although B just crawled halfway each time then turned around and came out the way he entered. 

Riding Waves

It was definitely a fun packed Memorial Day weekend on the Crimson Commodore!  We crammed just about as many water activities you could in a matter of three days.  This time it was for the kid!  Trenton tubed and surfed like the previous two summers, but for the first time, he was up on skis!  He is one brave three year old!  He begged us to do it and then turned right around asking to surf after skiing.  Who could blame him?  He's been watching his daddy his whole life.  Bennett didn't quite know what to think about the ski boat.  The wind and water were alright, but that dang life vest was too much!  He spent most his time on the houseboat playing with the water table or crawling around.

Photo Session with the Greats

Since we all aren't able to get together often living in Illinois, Colorado, Indiana, Tennesse and Georgia, we took advantage of the opportunity of a photo session before everyone headed back home. 

All the grandchildren with Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Al. (Kevin, Marc, Erin, Nathan, Kayla, Ryan)  There are fond memories of these cousins playing together. 

 2 daughters + 6 grandchildren + 7 great grandchildren = one big happy family

Wagers Side

The family reunion weekend in Indiana continues. This afternoon, the Wagers side met us at the hotel for patio play, pool splashing and a potluck dinner. 

Cornhole was a big hit with the children during this get together.  Even Bennett wanted in on this game!
