Time has flown! Our baby boy is turning 1. Tomorrow is the big day, but today is the par-tee. We feel very blessed for the opportunity to celebrate this special time with family and friends. Bennett brings us excitement and joy on a daily basis and we can't imagine our lives without this smiling, bundle of energy! Bennett, may God bless your next year just as much as your first! We love you dearly and are fortunate to have you as one of our children!!!
Bennett Elijah, the birthday boy, and Trenton Luke, the big brother, are ready to par-tee.
The pro shop had visors, clubs, balls, water bottles, spray mist, and bubble wands. The kids got to take everything home as their favors.
Mommy had fun planning and decorating for Bennett's 1st birthday par-tee.
We had sweet tee to drink. For the food, there were pimento cheese sandwiches (a trademark of the Masters Tournament), chip shots, apple slices, and donut hole in ones.
Stations were set up throughout the park. These one was balancing a golf ball on a spoon, then flagging your spot.
Hudson tests out the spoon and golf balance activity while Bennett plays with the club and ball.
Bennett got some sweet lovin' from Kaleigh and Mrs. Kathy. It was great to see them as Kaleigh just finished her freshman year at Alabama.
Barb the Cake Lady, once again, impressed us all with her gorgeous golf cake.
Bennett's smash cake
We were all excited to see how Bennett would react to cake time.Bennett liked all the attention and smiled as the crowd sang "Happy Birthday" to him.
He didn't quite know what to think about the cake, though. You really want me to eat that?
Bennett never dug in; however, we gave him a few tastes on the fingers. Trenton was eager for it.
He might not have been a big fan of the cake, but.....
Trenton and Will sure were!Hannah and Trenton enjoy the clubhouse.
Riley and Chase play on the green.
Aunt Jacquelyn celebrates the big day! Jacob and Bennett are just a few months apart and they both have older brothers close in age, too.
Bennett has the most precious smile I have ever seen. He seriously smiles non stop and is such a happy baby!
Chillin' under the tent with the grandpas (and Uncle Ryan) after the party.
A tired Bennett is partied out and ready for his nap! Hope you enjoyed your 1st birthday sweet boy!
