We put our unsettled house on hold for a relaxing weekend at the lake. We try to go up there each Labor Day weekend regardless of what we have going on back home. It's a well needed break.
Saturday there was a dock party BBQ.
Riley is such a helper with Bennett. She certainly is a "Little Momma" and she loved putting B to bed. Early the next morning, Trenton and Riley went on a mission.
It was to rescue the bottle Bennett had dropped in the lake at 5 in the morning.
Trenton drove. Riley scooped. Daddy was just along for the ride. :)
Riley loves holding Bennett, too, when ever he will sit still long enough to let her.
Bennett enjoyed his first real boating experience. He had finally gotten over the life vest thing and wore it like a pro not complaining once. He spent as much out on the ski boat this weekend as he had his entire life.
He actually watched the skiers. Daddy was probably his most favorite, but who could blame him.
Mommy and Bennett out of the water.
Hutch pulled Bennett around in the lego wagon.
Then they shots some hoops.
Bennett tried to pull Hutch. No luck.
Chase helped Bennett pretend to tube.
Two brothers and their children. Hutch 19 months, Chase 4 1/2, Riley 6, Trenton 3 1/2, Bennett 14 months
The older kids would take turns inside the tube. The others would roll it.
Bennett loved PaPaw's captian phone.
It was so funny to watch his full out conversation.
We had a beautiful twilight cruise and then ate dinner floating before pulling into the dock. Captains in training.
Tube picture 2013. It's the best we can do with these little munchkins on the move.
After sunset, the flashlights became a favorite toy.Bennett loved lake swimming this trip too. He's growin' up!
Trenton, Riley and Chase always find new fun each and every trip.
Dock jumping was exciting this Labor Day.
