Fall is in the air and that means pumpkin patch time! We took a daytrip north to Kinsey Family Farms to select our pumpkins, go on the hay ride, feed the catfish and barnyard animals, picnic under the shade tree and enjoy family time! We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day!
Bennett ready for a wagon ride.
Then, he immediately trotted over to the pumpkins pointed and saying, "ball"....everything round is a ball. :) Trenton was pretty happy to be amongst the orange spheres, too!
Two brothers
Climbing all over the pumpkins.
Trenton starts putting every pumpkin he can get his hands on in our wagon.
I do have to admit he picked out some really good ones, although many we secretly returned because we weren't buying the entire patch!
Trenton way ahead of us.
The boys on the hayride with Opa and Granna.

The catfish pond.
The boys liked feeding the catfish. They were really fat and hungry!
During intermission on the tractor pulled hayride.
Bennett is such a watcher. He could stay in your arms content taking it all in.
He loves to hold your hand and take you places. He even mooed to the cows.
Trenton was a bit hesitant to feed the goats who snatched the crackers with their teeth.Bennett was very curious about these creatures.
Feeding the horse.
He gave many smile and laughs at the animals. I think he thought they were just like dogs, which he's a huge fan of.
Talking with the animals.
Relax and picnic! We had a great lunch packed by Granna.
Our family at the farm.We brought Trenton's soccer ball to play with.
And it was the best decision ever! He had friends to play with and loved their company under the shade tree.

Trenton.....who currently is learning all about Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater and the color orange this month at school. It was our little field trip. :)
We displayed our pumpkin family on our porch.
Then brought several of the little ones inside for extra decoration.
