Since we will be out of town with Kevin's family this Christmas, we have had to spread out the present opening. So, we let the boys open a few from us early. Most were matching because when one has something, the other usually wants it.
Ready to open Mommy and Daddy's presents.Going to town. Same time for identical presents.
Then taking turns for individual gifts unique to child.
The boys needed new shoes since their have holes in them. I don't know how they go through shoes so fast!
Trenton got a bigger suitcase before our trip and it's no other than R2D2!
I surprised the family with several Sweetjack purchases for family outings. (I'm a fool for those discount sites! When there is a deal, I buy!) Here they opened swords and shields because.....we are going to the Renaissance Festival. K laughed b/c it really isn't us, but the boys love knights and Trenton loved it when he was 3. They all also received circus tickets and Steeplechase tickets.)
Bennett had me in hysterics. It never failed. Everytime he opened a present, the tape stuck to his finger. I have no idea how he was opening them, but he insisted on not getting help.
Although it was dark, the boys took their lanterns and headlamp worker helmets out to the tree. They used their new nail gun and sander to work on the tree. It actually was perfect....minus the cold.
