Sweet Baby.....Amazing Big Brother!

It has been a sick month, and today our boys noses have been POURING!  No fun.  So, we opted to stay home from church, rest and not spread our germs.  Well, resting isn't necessarily in boys vocabulary.  We still played rather hard, just with tissue nearby.  :)
Superheros!  Trenton is into all superheros.  His favorites are Spiderman, Superman and Batman.  Bennett, not so much....yet, but I felt this "superhero in training" onesie was a perfect description for the little man!
Bennett likes to pull to a standing position.  He isn't quite strong enough to do it on his own, but if you help get him there, he is as happy as can be wobbling on those leggies.  He does push up on his own now into the crawling position.  It won't be long before he is off and crawling!
These two are obsessed with each other.  Trenton tries to hold Bennett often.  Bennett grabs at his face.  Trenton then scolds Bennett by saying, "No, Bennett" and Bennett just laughs at him thinking everything is play.  It's hilarious to watch.
Bennett could watch Trenton all day long and be perfectly happy. I keep thinking back to when Trenton was Bennett's age. He must have been so bored with us. Where was all the activity and excitement without an older sibling? How did we keep him entertained all the time?
Bennett is definitely interacting with toys more.  He's very curious.
Sweet baby boy.....

.....with an amazing big brother!

Jammies

Sometimes we like to stay in our jammies for quite sometime.  It's nice and cozy during the cold winter.
Look how long Bennett is getting!

Winter Play

Winter play might be slightly more limited these days, but we bundled up to face the inevitable.
From Buzz and Zurg to Spiderman and Batman, Trenton is full of energy as he pretends with Daddy.
He has the most contagious smile and lovable laugh.  He's our sweet 3 year old boy!
Momma and Bennett got watch all the excited, too, as we bundled together.  This is a classic picture with Bennett looking at his brother.  Trenton always catches his attention.

Bennett 8 Months

Noon that day, we did B's 8 month pictures.  I love all his expressions and the mischief he gets into each time with his sticker.  Stats from this month are:
1.  He holds his own bottle.
2.  He doubled in teeth.  He now has 6.
3.  He sleeps 6 pm to 6 am.
4.  He eats a whole baby food container at a sitting, if not more.
5.  He claps in response to the word yay.
6.  His favorite activity is probably a bath with his brother, but following closely behind is playing with the remote.
 Sweet.                                                                           Excited.
 Curious.                                                                       Innocent.
 And play by play.......sticker on.
 Pulling it off.
 Crumbling it.
And laughing through it all.  Oh, Bennett!  I just love you!

Bunk Beds

We have fun morning, noon and night!  Here's Trenton's super-dooper big idea.  Bunk beds in Bennett's room.
That smirk says it all!  He loved his idea!

Picture Modge Podge

I seem to forget about the pictures on my phone.  Here are lots of randoms from the past couple months.
Aunt Kiki came to visit so we stopped by her house to play.
She hadn't met Bennett yet.  I think he likes her.         We took Daddy to the zoo.
 It was giraffe breeding season......
and bird feeding time so quite an experience for Trenton.  We also watched the bird show which taught us how well Bennett sees.  A bird swooped directly at us before landing on his branch.  Well, that scared Bennett.  The instant the bird was a hand distance away, he screamed bloody murder.  We skipped out on the rest of the show while Daddy and Trenton finished it.
 Chugga-Chugga Choo-Choo!  Who doesn't like a train ride?
We returned to Ms. Buckler's house and immediately went for the skates.  He had missed them!
Mommy took the boys to Life University's Night of Lights one day when Daddy was working late.  Trenton petted the animals in the petting zoo.  (Well, the ones he could catch!)
 We rode the train together.
And he was Chippey! Here's my little helper.  He coos so much when he sees the washing machine and dryer.  He must think they are toys with their noises.  I always set him on it for a minute and watch him smile in delight.
Trenton at Sawyer and Hudson's Monster Truck birthday party.
A big brother would do this to you!
Superman and Spiderman......I mean Trenton and Erich.........to the rescue (or restroom as it sounds now!)
Picking up race packets for the Polar Bear run.  He was so pumped!
Momma's date.....at Clifford at the Cobb Energy Center with our friends the Vasells.
