Rainy Day Schedule

It was a full day of rain.....I mean sun up to sun down.  So, after brunch, we played a family game of Uno.  Trenton has always been a big fan, but this was the first attempt with Bennett.  He certainly likes the holder and shouting Uno.  He was on Mommy's team.
 Uno time
We are still learning not to show everyone our cards.  But what a great hand, Bennett!
We took the boys to see Big Hero 6 and boy did they love it!!!  They were so good, too.

Projects

Projects are big hits with the boys.  They tape everything.  Love envelops.  Jump at the ideas of scissors.  So, here are our latest...........
Bennett with his Thank You, God book from Ms. Buckler.  Trenton and his Jesus detector from Sunday School.  It beeps if you are acting like God would.  So sweet!

Appointments and This and That

Dentist time again!  It was the 1st time for Bennett in the big boy chair.  He loved it!  Even on appointment day, we find fun!
 I'm a big kid now!
 He loved it!
Carpool drop off for T, home for electrician, then cookie baking time!  B likes to lick it.
There's nothing better than pumpkin chocolate chip cookies in the fall.  They are our favorite!

Another Pile of......

Leaves!  What were you thinking? Could it really be the following weekend?  We just had a clean yard after last weekend's cleanup.
 The yard full of leaves.
 To the right.......

To the left....
Boys say, "Bring it on leaf blower!"
The pile was massive this week.
Bennett diving in.  They run across the yard before hitting the pile.
 Rugged boys!
I'm a little paranoid with something blowing in their eyes.  I made them wear sunglasses.  Once a Mommy, always a Mommy!
At least they'll stay warm in the frigid temperature.
Don't get blown away, Bennett Boy!
 Stand strong, Trenton Mon!
They attempt to fight back against the leaves.  Now luck!
 Daddy.......the man behind the blower.
At least I can spot them in their bright colors.
 Where are the boys?
 There they are!

Leaf Pile

Divide and conquer.  That is sometimes Kevin and my motto with two boys.  We love the fact that we are not outnumbered.  Haha!  Bennett chose to go grocery shopping with me (I'm sure it was the thought of a cookie) and Trenton stayed at home with Daddy to work in the yard.  When we got home, we found Trenton and Daddy busy making a leaf pile.  The boys had a great time playing in it!
 Daddy blowing the leaves.
Trenton raking.....except they could only find a broom, so he's sweeping them.  :)  Resourceful!
Bennett took his balloon from Publix and jumped right in the fun with them.
B didn't put the balloon down for the longest.
Making the pile even bigger!
I laughed at how silly the boys looked but they were having a fabulous time.  Trenton with a cowboy hat and sword, Bennett with his balloon and sunglasses.  Whatever works, right?
 A big brother would do this........No Ten-ten......
 Ka-Pow!  B's covered in leaves.
 But, he loved it!
They wrestled around and threw leaves on top to bury each other.
Well, that's one thing to check off our fall bucket list!

Baseball Banquet

The baseball season ended abruptly.  Because of the extremely cold and windy weather, the last game of the season was cancelled.  Have no fear!  The banquet later that afternoon still took place at Rosa's.
Boy was Trenton proud of his baseball trophy!  Trenton and Nicholas.
The team was sweet to give the coaches a plaque and gift certificate, too.
What a fun team!  We enjoyed playing with our old friend Rylan and a few reconnected friends of Mommy from high school who had boys Trenton's age.....Julie (Johnson) Laskowski-Jack and Chrissy (Dougherty) Young-Luke.
