Breakfast Picnic

Breakfast at Opa and Granna's!  After dropping Trenton off at preschool, Bennett gets to enjoy a breakfast picnic with his grandparents.  

Empty Bellies and Starving Appetites

All 3 of us had had it rough with the stomach bug at various points last week.  It's time to make up for lost time.  Empty bellies and starving appetites means Canyon's night!

Another Week of Being Sick!

You think we had our fair share of sicknesses this winter, but no, it's back, and in full force!

Bennett may have throw up in his hair and be sporting a size 5T shirt, but this little guy didn't let a day of throwing up get to him.  I gave him his throw up bag for the carride home for the sitter's house.  He proceeded to put it on his head and say that he was Cat in the Hat.  (Tuesday)

ER visit per Pediatric Surgeon's request to get a stomach x-ray since he began having persistent vomiting. (middle of the night Thursday into Friday wee hours) and had just had stomach surgery a week ago.

Zofran and popsicles are the magic drugs around our house.  Then, Trenton is back to his usual self, and happy to be Cat in the Hat like Bennett was the other day. You see, throw up bags are valuable to us right now, and I wouldn't let Trenton waste one and play with it in the car earlier in the week when he was completely fine.  Unlimited supply here at the ER, though!  We stocked up because our our track record!

Trenton says he feels here now (good!)  Time to go home and sleep!  It's nearly 2 am!.....oh yeah and Kevin texts us while we are leaving to ask whether or not he should bring Bennett to ER.  He's throwing up.....again!  Really, it's never-ending!!!!

Calm Outside Play

We've been working of keeping T calm.  Busy toys are the way to go, and it was the first absolutely gorgeous day in a while.  So, we skipped choir, came home and played calmly outside.  The boys had fun with Mr. Potato Head.

Trenton's Self Portrait

We couldn't make Art from the Heart this year because Kevin was out of town for work, and I was home with Trenton during his recovery.  However, we did purchase his self portrait.  I was so excited to get it after I dropped Trenton off at preschool this morning.

Paper Bag Monsters

Since Daddy hadn't been in town to see the boys all weekend, it worked out nicely putting the boys down for a late nap and letting them stay up later than usual playing.  Plus, church with choir and lunch with Granna and Opa took us well into naptime.  Thank goodness these boys nap whenever!

Choir

Trenton had his 1st church service choir performance this morning.  He was loud and clear singing for the Lord.  It was a sweet sight!
