Big Springs Pumpkin Patch

Big Springs Farm had a lot to offer us this year at the pumpkin patch.  In addition to pumpkin picking, Trenton enjoyed the hayride, bounce house, and bouncing horse.  Without a doubt the bounce house was his favorite part.  He was way more capable of jumping inside it than we thought.  It was tough to get him out of it when they were closing and it was time to go home.

It's hayride time!

Mommy and Trenton enjoyed seeing all the Halloween decorations along the hayride.  Their was a spider inside the covered bridge, a cemetery, ghost forest, skeletons, and of course, pumpkins growing on the vine.

The bouncing horse was a little too big of a toy for Trenton alone, but Daddy helped Trenton play on it.

Hank in Real Life (Peachtree City Airshow)

We witnessed, perhaps the coolest thing in a long time; our good friend Hank fly--no blast--his jet in a local airshow!  The speed, maneuvers, and intensity of his performance had the entire audience in awe. We had a crowd of nearly 20 gathered to watch this special day in Peachtree City.  It was such a privilege to be able to witness this memorable event, and of course, visit with our good friends Hank and Katherine (and their family and friends.)   

It was about this time last year that we (Daddy, Mommy, Katherine and Hank) took Trenton to his first airshow while up in Virginia Beach visiting, yet this show surpassed that one due to the fact that Hank was a pilot in it.  We were prepared with ear muffs, which oddly enough, Trenton loved wearing, Trenton's own personal Hank and airplane, and lots of excitement.   We also had a wonderful time seeing Stephanie and her boy Will, who were able to make it out to the airshow.  Trenton and Will looked precious in their ear protection.  Can't wait for the next show!

Scottsdale Farms with Granna

Granna took Trenton to Scottsdale Farms this past week.  They listened to a story under the Keeber Elf tree, browsed through the petting zoo, rode on a hayride, and ate lunch in their cafe.  Trenton was able to test out his Woody Halloween costume.  Granna and Trenton love their Thursday adventures together!

Switch Hitter?

What do all these pictures have in common?  You got it, Trenton is using his left hand in all!  Although we are dominate right handers in the Wagers and Leskoves, Kevin and I both each have a cousin who is left handed.  So, I guess we may have a lefty on our hands.  It is a tight competition against his right because he uses both equally.  However, as for eating, he is much better with his left.  As Opa and Daddy put it, Trenton may just be a switch hitter, which will only help him in his baseball career.  :)  Guess we'll know soon.  Stay tuned!

Marietta Square Train-ground

One of our favorite things about where we live is the vicinity to the Marietta Square.  It is such a neat place.  Before we met our friends the Spivas at MP for dinner, we let Trenton run around and play pretend on the train-ground.  It is such a neat playground with a realistic appearance.  From the conductor's cabin, to the freight house, Trenton enjoyed all it offered.  He would try to mimic the older kids climbing on top of the engine, but lucky for us he isn't that good of climber yet.

Opa's Birthday!

Happy Birthday Opa! For the 2nd year in a row, we enjoyed the beautiful fall weather and took a hike for Opa's birthday.  This year, went to Thompson Park.  Trenton enjoyed walking this year, although he took a stroller ride for most of the hike.  He even managed to find his own hiking stick that resembled Granna and Opa's hiking sticks.  Afterwards, we had lunch at their house and watched some football.  Sounds like the perfect day! 

Jaren's Birthday Dinner

It was our next door neighbor's birthday, so we gathered in our backyard for dinner.  Call it easy, but pizza was our speciality, that is of course, with GiGi's Cupcakes.  I'm not sure if you have ever had GiGi's Cupcakes--and no, this isn't Trenton's grandma GiGi, but a store in Marietta, but they are delicious!  Their creamy, rich taste is one to die for!  Even Trenton and Rylan liked their half.
