Double Baths

We put Bennett's bath seat to use this week.  I'm not sure what Bennett likes best....the water or his silly brother entertaining him?  Regardless, he loves his baths! 

 I love watching these two boys together!

Bennett 7 Months

Bennett is such a happy 7 month old baby!  He weighs 17 lbs 13 oz, only 2 ounces more than Trenton did at this stage.  Here are some facts from this past month.

1.  He has 3 teeth.  The bottom two and a top incisor (so it's a fang right now!)

2.  He sits up on his own.

3.  Everything goes into his mouth.  Time to keep those little objects out of reach!

4.  He had his 3rd ear infection this month.  (Nothing major, I'm just documenting it for when I forget when he had them.)

5.  He recognizes faces from across the room, and lights up in joy as you approach him.

              Chewing to get those teeth through the gums!

 You don't have to keep reminding us Bennett of how handsome you are.   

 Love those huge belly-laughing smiles!

 Always kicking and squirming.  He'll probably be as active at T. 

 And he constantly rolls to his belly.

Happy 2013!

It was a rainy New Years Day.  We hosted our family dinner at our house this year.  Kevin was pumped about doing yet another meal on the green egg.  This time is was a brisket.  He bared the rain and got up at 3 am to put the meat on.  At least there was the Georgia game, good food, and entertainment inside our house despite the nasty weather.  It was a nice, relaxing day with family!

We celebrated Christmas with Uncle Brad and Aunt Jacquelyn, too.  Trenton adored his superman cape and mask.

They each also got a personalized book. 

Uncle Brad read the story to Trenton right away.  T loved it!

Bennett was all grins and giggles bouncing in Aunt Jacquelyn's lap.

Testing our luck, I bought scratch offs for everyone.  We had two ticket winners in the family.

New Years Eve

We had a great New Years Eve with the Miller family.  Kevin cooked wings on the green egg, we had a champagne toast at 8:00 followed by blowers, sparklers, and crackers.  Not sure the boys favorite part but they obviously enjoyed the night. 

Kellan, Rylan, Bennett and Trenton gathered around the table for dinner.

Welcoming in the new year a little early since we had an 8:00 celebration.

Highchair Turnover

The high chair is officially Bennett's.  Trenton had been hanging on to it for as long as he could.  He liked the height and enjoyed sitting in it to watch TV when he ate.  Well, with B eating more now, T got the boot.  Bennett enjoys watches his brother act crazy now while eating.  Silly boys!

He doesn't quite know what to think of them, though.  We'll give it another couple weeks and try again.

Trenton helps Daddy on the green egg.  I can tell they'll be out there a lot with this new Christmas present. 

Boing! Boing! Boing!

Bennett is giggles and grins in his jumperoo for the first time.  We had been wanting to get this toy out of storage for some time but decided the best option would be to set it up when we took our Christmas tree down.  The time has come and B loves it. 

I just love those wide-mouthed smiles!
