Happy Birthday Opa!

It was Opa's big day! We met up with Uncle Brad, Aunt Jacquelyn and Berkeley at Red Top Mountain for a hike. Berkeley and Trenton sure were troopers, making it the entire 4 miles. Of course, Trenton fell asleep the remaining quarter of a mile, and Berkeley slept for an entire day, but we all enjoyed the great outdoors.

We continued the birthday festivities back at the house with football and cake. Trenton had a surprise for Opa--his longhorn shirt! Now, Trenton is really confused.....Mommy says go dawgs.....Daddy says roll tide......and Opa says hook 'em horns! Well, there is one thing for sure. There's no way out of watching football in this family, Trenton! :)

It was a great weekend! Happy Birthday, Opa! We love you!

Trenton fast asleep during the last part of the hike.

Here are your cards, Opa. Sorry for the soggy parts, I thought I could eat them! :)

Here comes the cake.

Holding Trenton back so he doesn't get the candles (or the cake!)

Sunday morning--Granna has Trenton all bundled up in his robe for the cooler, fall weather. He still loves the front porch even in layers of clothing.
