Atlanta Botanical Gardens

For Father's Day, we had given Opa tickets to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Due to the extreme Atlanta heat, we postponed our visit until the fall. This weekend was the perfect time to go--still sunny and warm, but definitely bearable. We enjoyed strolling Trenton around the gardens. The new canopy walk had recently opened and it was neat to walk amongst the leaves. We had no idea how huge the gardens were--it kept going and going and going. The renovations were amazing. We just couldn't believe that this was in the heart of such an metropolis. Trenton ended up falling asleep during parts of our walk, including the children's area. No worries, we went back went he woke up so he could enjoy all the kid stuff. He is going to love it once he can toddle around!

Let's see how tall you are Trenton.

Going down the slide with Mommy in the Children's area.

Trenton kept looking at Mommy instead of looking up.

Where are they hiding?

Trenton had a great time on the walk through the canopy.

If there is water, Trenton is in it! He loves splashing around!

Trenton is fast asleep under the bug tunnel in the children's section--1st time through.

All in a line

It was a beautiful day for the gardens!
