We enjoyed Thanksgiving this year up in Tennessee with Kevin's family. Since the weather was really nice, the kids were able to enjoy playing outside. Trenton loves Riley and Chases' roller coaster. He'd fly down the driveway, even pulling up his hands to show off how he could do it no handed. No one even told him or showed him how to do this. He was the only kid doing it. Then, at times, he ride it backwards just to get a kick out of you. Again, Trenton thought of this all on his own--such a natural risk taker always up for an adventure! I think he's going to ask Santa for one of these this Christmas!
We have a lot to be thankful for and we were reminded of that yet again this year. At the table we shared memories of Thanksgiving. We also shared with our family this weekend our big news of Trenton being a big brother by sending puzzles to relatives who we were not able to spend the holiday with.
On Friday, we went to Opryland to see the lights. The nativity display outside was the best part. We liked seeing the statues of people and animals as well as hearing the story of Jesus. Trenton received a little bump on his head after tripping inside the building. He hadn't had one of those in quite awhile, but it never surprises us when he gets one.
We had such a long drive back home that Sunday. The beautiful weather turned stormy. The trip, that usually takes less than 4 hrs was double that. Needless to say, we made it home safely and that is all we can ask for.

He's even cute when crying! I think this was the part when he wanted us to push it back up the ramp, but we wouldn't give in. If you do it once, he learns to work the system! :)
