I am thankful for weekends. It is so nice to have the family time together and get things down around the house. I can easily take weekends for granted and get caught up in the errand aspect. I was reminded this weekend to slow down and appreciate the simplicity of life around the house. The boys and I stuffed, addressed, stamped and mailed Christmas cards. Then, we helped Daddy with the leaves outside. (Big task in our wooded yard!) I love days like this, and am blessed to be able to share them with the best company!
