As the summer came to an end, we enjoyed one last long weekend at the houseboat. GiGi and PaPaw brought Riley and Chase up with them a day after we got there. The kids wanted to play with Trenton and Bennett, but the rest of their crew stayed home to prepare for baby Jessie Joy's arrival in Aug. We did get to see them during the day Sat. luckily. Friday was extra special because it was only Kevin, myself and the boys out on the water. We went for a morning boat ride with coffee (and my chai tea).....half in pjs, half in swim suits....and enjoyed the crisp air and water. We felt like we had the lake to ourselves. Then, Trenton got in long ski runs since there was no one else to pull. I don't think we've ever had the opportunity for just the four of us to boat alone so it was a treat.
The lake all to ourselves! The boys played with the ski ropes.
Trenton enjoying the boat ride.
After swimming, they curled up together in the front for "nap-nap"
They did really fall asleep, but stayed down the whole time. I think it was relaxing for them.
Once Chase and Riley got there, they cousins went tubing.Bennett fell fast asleep in Riley's arms on the tube. We brought him in and took him back to the houseboat for his nap.
Riley, Trenton, Chase and Bennett ready to cruise to the marina for dinner.
Feeding the ducks.
The grandkids asking for PaPaw's wallet to buy something in the gift shop.
Riley and Chase came out with push up pops and our boys came out with floating anchor key chains. GiGi with 4 of the grandkids outside of Hurricane Marina.
There was a nice sunset and view of the lake from here.
Daddy and PaPaw took the boys out for an evening jet ski ride.
