We went to Christmas Eve service at Rolling Hills Church in Franklin, Tennesse. It was contemporary and reminded us very much of North Point/Buckhead Church which we attended for several years when living downtown. They had an interactive part for the children when explaining the wisemen and their gifts. Trenton got to go up on stage with the star from under our chair. Good thing he isn't shy! We enjoyed the live music and candle lighting. After that, we went back to hang out at GiGi and PaPaw's house with Kevin's brother's family. We did the adult present exchange while the kids played.
Christmas Eve 2014Bennett and Trenton with GiGi and PaPaw
The older cousins.....Riley 7, Trenton 4, Chase 5
The middle cousins.....Hutch 3 and Bennett 2
Then the baby cousin Jessie 4 months with the sister in laws.
The kids with pretend money during Christmas Eve dinner.
GiGi was smart and let the kids open 1 present each....it was the same remote control car. The kids had a little extra entertainment while we did the opening, but honestly, they found fun in other ways.
Bennett hung out with us a lot and helped each person open their gifts.
Here's the best present of all! The middle cousins loved the boxes!
Sprinkling the reindeer food on the lawn as we said good night to our cousins.
Leaving cookies and milk for Santa.
Checking the naughty or nice app one for time before bed. That and the Santa tracker were big hits!
