T's Special Day

Trenton had his post op hernia surgery appointment today.  All was well, so he and I grabbed breakfast at IHop and then drove over to explore Tiny Towne.  It's a new children's place in Norcross where kids get to drive down pretend roads.  But, it drains your pocket more than any other children's place I've been to before!  Although T had a great time there and asks to go back, we will not be going.  We checked it out this time because half of our fun was via a Groupon.
Trenton and Mommy's special day......just the 2 of us!
 The tiny town.
Beware!  Trenton is behind the wheel!
They also had a train ride and arcade section.

Time With GiGi

We were lucky!  GiGi and PaPaw came into town.  PaPaw had a couple business golf outings.  Kevin was able to join him at East Lake and Country Club of the South.  Both were amazing golfing experiences, especially East Lake where it's a walking course only and players have their own caddies.  Not sure what Kevin thought with this unbelievable treatment!  :)  The boys got to stay home with GiGi and play.  During that time, Trenton had kindergarten registration.  Can you believe it's already that time?!  Since he had to miss preschool for the registration, GiGi and I took the boys on their own little golf outing, putt-putt.
Bennett, Trenton and GiGi are all smiles playing together in our front yard.
Playing with eggs and going to Fickle Pickle for dinner.  Uh-oh....Uncle Ryan...cookies!  It's a running joke that Uncle Ryan will eat all their cookies.  They love playing it with him!
Going to be a Davis Tiger next year!
Super Bennett!
He's such a smiley little boy!
His brother is there to help or steal your toys.  :)
But they certainly have fun together!
Playing our round of 18 holes.
Bennett took it mighty seriously.  He was determined to get the ball in the hole every single time no matter how long it took.  Good thing we were pretty much the only ones out there on the course!
We love our GiGi time!
GiGi got 2 hole in ones!

Baseball Season #2....The Cardinals

It's baseball time again for the Wagers!  Trenton played in his first games this week.  Most of the season has been missed due to weather (snow, cold or rain) but then he had his hernia surgery so we missed a couple other games.  I'm not sure if Trenton enjoyed being back out on the field or seeing his buddies again.
Batter up!  We were 2 for 2 at coach pitch hits this game!
 Ready to run.
Running and having another player from the other team race him to 3rd (but without the ball) Haha!
 Rounding to home!  Score!

Trenton's hit, followed by his run to 2nd after his teammate hits.
Trenton and Luke in the out field.
I love that they didn't see me taking their pictures as they did their hand shakes!  Adorable!

Their friendship is great!  They have fun together but are never too crazy and always listen to adults.
  Then there is snack time!
And Trenton's #1 fans.....Opa and Granna!  We love that they come to watch Trenton's games. They're so supportive and encouraging!  We laugh on the sidelines together as we watch these 5/6 year olds attempt the "major leagues."

Daredevils

It's like having a roller coaster in your front yard.  Daredevils is all that comes to mind.

Touch a Truck Kennesaw

From fire trucks and police motorcycles to excavators and bulldozers, the boys had a good time at Kennesaw's Touch a Truck.  I will say, it was not nearly as impressive as Alpharetta's, the only other Touch a Truck we have been to, but to the boys, it was fine.  They liked going around to venders just as much as climbing onto the trucks.  Haha!
 They call us the firemen......
Trenton told the guys by these machines he knew what they were, "Engineers!"  I love his vocabulary!
Testing out the motorcycles.
 More construction vehicles.
And even a huge one with a gigantic shovel (Is that what you call it?)

Granna's Birthday Celebration

Our sick month kept us from celebrating Granna's birthday on the 6th, but a week later we all seemed better so brought Mellow Mushroom and cookie cake over to wish her a happy 65th!
The boys are always willing to help anyone blow out their candles.  Bennett liked to wear his hat on the front of his head.
 We called him the unicorn.
You just can't beat Mellow Mushroom pizza!  It's our favorite!
Granna taught Trenton this trick with hats, so he became a horned creature.

Breakfast Picnic

Breakfast at Opa and Granna's!  After dropping Trenton off at preschool, Bennett gets to enjoy a breakfast picnic with his grandparents.

Empty Bellies and Starving Appetites

All 3 of us had had it rough with the stomach bug at various points last week.  It's time to make up for lost time.  Empty bellies and starving appetites means Canyon's night!
And balloon artists creatures.

Another Week of Being Sick!

You think we had our fair share of sicknesses this winter, but no, it's back, and in full force!
Bennett may have throw up in his hair and be sporting a size 5T shirt, but this little guy didn't let a day of throwing up get to him.  I gave him his throw up bag for the carride home for the sitter's house.  He proceeded to put it on his head and say that he was Cat in the Hat.  (Tuesday)
Trenton camping out on the bathroom floor because he doesn't feel well. (Thursday)
ER visit per Pediatric Surgeon's request to get a stomach x-ray since he began having persistent vomiting. (middle of the night Thursday into Friday wee hours) and had just had stomach surgery a week ago.
Zofran and popsicles are the magic drugs around our house.  Then, Trenton is back to his usual self, and happy to be Cat in the Hat like Bennett was the other day. You see, throw up bags are valuable to us right now, and I wouldn't let Trenton waste one and play with it in the car earlier in the week when he was completely fine.  Unlimited supply here at the ER, though!  We stocked up because our our track record!
Trenton says he feels here now (good!)  Time to go home and sleep!  It's nearly 2 am!.....oh yeah and Kevin texts us while we are leaving to ask whether or not he should bring Bennett to ER.  He's throwing up.....again!  Really, it's never-ending!!!!
