We went to library time together today. I learned this summer how much he loves it! Then, after picking T up from preschool, we had a playdate with The Cornish family.
Trenton and Bennett had so much fun with Hudson and Fallon! Whitaker Park is our favorite meet up with them!

Bennett with the Ladies
Bennett was surrounded by girls this Monday. We went with our friend's The Clarks (and their 3 girls) to the zoo. Trenton had school, but Bennett loved playing with the girls!
Bennett, Turner and MargaretBennett and Mommy had this special day together since Trenton had preschool during fall break! He rarely gets to do anything alone with me so it was memorable.
As usual, the spray fans with a big hit.
Come on ride the train! Baby Frances is in the background with Ms. Katie

Momma Learns About Boys and Baseball
Game 2......week night so Mommy gets us prepared and ready. We get there right before gametime. Trenton runs back out from the dugout to me. I quickly learn that not only did I not put his cup in the built in pocket of his underwear, but I put it in upside down. Why do 4 year olds have to wear cups anyways?
Trenton playing 1st. I like how they rotate through the various positions, but 1st was scary! I don't think T pays the best attention yet to play such a critical position where balls are flown regularly. If you ask the team, half the players would say the best part of the game is the snack afterward! T is probably one of them. :)
Creatures of Habit!
The ritual of church is to walk around the fountain after leaving the building. The boys established it early on. Don't try to leave without it!

Our New Car!
The jeep started giving us trouble, so before it cost us a fortune, we decided to get a new car. We decided on the Highlander.
Trenton rushes out ready to climb in a take a ride. It was hilarious car shopping with kids. I have to admit, they were really good, but when it came time for the actual purchase, they stayed with Granna and Opa for the 5 hour ordeal. Thank goodness!Trenton loves it!
He's a big fan of the captain's seats.
But a bigger fan of the 3rd row!
Ready for a test drive around the neighborhood!
And off they go.....
See you soon!

Kids Nights!
So eating out might not be quite like it used to be.
We follow the kid's night schedules with two extra bellies to feed. Fickle Pickle Tuesdays. So glad my boys are milk fans. They want it at every meal!
As you see, we bring the entertainment to restaurants. The hats on the patio were big fun for the boys at Buffalo's patio. Best thing about Buffalo's......two kids free per one adult. Since we usually eat dinner between 4-5, I'm flying solo but we do avoid crowds. Bennett is my child! He loves condiments like his Mommy, ranch, ketchup....you name it! Trenton steers clear!
We were the only ones on the Canyon's (Monday night Kid's Night) patio this particular Mon. I think the fear of pop up showers kept people away but it was perfect for us! Trenton would drop Batman through the middle (umbrella) hole, claim he was in a trap, then rescue him under the table. I got and extra 10 minutes to relax with this fun.

Seadogs 1st Baseball Game
It's the Seadogs first game and Trenton first baseball game ever. Sorry for the mass of pictures.
Sitting on the bench after warm up waiting for the game to start. At this age, all players are on the field, no matter the number.Kevin is coaching this year. Trenton loves that. They rotate the kids though lots of positions. When Trenton is at first, I'm super nervous because 4 year olds don't always pay attention and other 4 year olds don't have very good aim on throws. Outfield is perfect!
Equally as distracting with a buddy near.
Kevin making his way to 1st base to coach.Trenton up at bat for the first time. 4 coach pitches, then they hit off a tee. Majority hit from the tee at this stage.
Running to first........
The ball is under thrown.....
He's safe!
Ready to run to 2nd base.....running the bases is his favorite thing, I believe.
Getting a pointer or two from Coach Kevin.
And he's off to 2nd......
Made it!
There Trenton goes to 3rd....
Safe again and receiving a high five from Coach Brett.
Ready to score.......
And he does!
Bennett cheers on from the sidelines.
With Opa and Granna there, of course!
Best play of the game.....I've learning that I'm documenting the funniest each time. The other team's player on 2nd base chased his own team's hit into the outfield forgetting they were at bat, not fielding. Love it!
