Brown Bag Lunch

We finished up our fall break with a little "stay-cation" and our first stop was the Brown Bag Lunch on the Marietta Square. Thursdays at noon there is a concert in the square where people can bring their lunch. We hadn't made one before. We found a nice shady area in from of the stage, with the beautiful fountain behind us, and a cute train playground next to us. Granna and Opa met us up there. It was full of retired people and moms with their little kids. The kids were precios dancing out on the bricks. That will be Trenton one day! We all really enjoyed the day. Too bad the last one of the year is next week. We will have to keep the concerts in mind for next year.

I don't know if you can see Trenton's cheek, but he has his first real battle wound. He woke up from his morning nap with a good sized scratch on his cheek. (Of course, he fell back asleep on the drive to the square.)
Trenton loves his Granna!
She is always finding something fun for Trenton to do. He loved splashing in the fountain!

We couldn't have asked for a better day!

We had perfect spots --in the shade and with enough room for a blanket for Trenton to play on.

He is all smiles about the concert!
