Houseboat

Memorial Day weekend was spent up at Center Hill Lake with the Wagers. Trenton was able to really enjoy his experience at the boat this year. He loved driving the houseboat with PaPaw, splashing with the water table, dancing to the music, watching Daddy surf and wakeboard, jetskiing with Daddy, and spending time with his grandparents, aunt, uncle and cousins! We were thankful for the beautiful weather and safe trip up there.

Trenton drives with PaPaw.

Cruising the lake while enjoyed the top of the houseboat was perfect!

Trenton is geared up for his first real boat ride.

He has on the life jacket his Daddy wore when he was a little boy. There's no telling how many kids have been through it!

Trenton got a kick about of Daddy's water tricks.

Trenton enjoyed riding on GiGi's lap.

I'm always into sunglasses.....Trenton, they are upside down! :)

We've never seen a kid who likes to dump water on his head as much as Trenton!

He delights in the sensation of it dripping down his face and giggles in excitement at your reaction. No fear!

Chase has got the sunglasses on right!

Aunt Suzy and Riley enjoy their pina coloda during a swim break.

Trenton wasn't so keen on the vest when he had to sit down.....I bet you can see why.

The other kids fall fast asleep on boat rides, but not Trenton. It's too new and fun for him!

I'm about to go on my first jetski ride with Daddy!

Cousins.....they don't fit as well as last year!

Looking out onto the lake.

Trenton liked to climb in the ski boat and pretend to drive. All those exciting buttons and dials--any boy would be in awe!

We love watermelon! We love watermelon!

We had a great evening inviting Mommy's college friends over for dinner. We rarely have the opportunity to get everyone together these days with their busy schedules, so it was a well-awaited event. Outside, we set up cornhole, fired up the grill, and sat back and caught up on life. Thanks girls for taking the time to come over. Trenton (and myself) enjoyed the night!

Mrs. JJ had the best toy ever.....an i-phone! And plus, she knew all the cool games to show Trenton. He walked around the entire night with it in his hand. (Someone is good with kids!)

Daddy takes a break from cornhole to push Trenton around in his wheelbarrel, which by the way, is not meant for kids to ride in. Nevertheless, Trenton insisted, even with one wheel broken.

Trenton watches cornhole like a big boy in his very own camping chair. He doesn't want to be left out of anything!

Pool Opening

It is opening pool season in Georgia. We got our new pool keys, decided Saturday the water would be too cold since it was only mid May, and then teality hit the heat and we gave in on Sunday. We wondered how Trenton would react to the water because it was still slightly colder than refreshing at this point. It didn't phase him one bit! With a bucket in hand Trenton enjoyed swimming, playing on the steps, jumping into the water, and laughing as he dumped water over his head. Oh how I think it is a going to be a fun pool season!

Trenton shows off his moves from swim class.

I think the most fun was pouring water on himself with the bucket.

With a sweet little smile like that, I think Mommy is going to be persuaded to go to the pool quite often this summer.

Tomahawk Chop

You can't live in Atlanta and not cheer on the Braves. Daddy and Trenton perform the tomahawk chop together as Daddy hums the anthem. We can't wait to take Trenton to his MLB game!

Sprinkler Fun

Well, it has already reached the 90's in hot'lanta and it is only May! What better way to welcome in the immense heat than to let Trenton run through the sprinkler. It shocked him at first as the water splashed him in the face, but soon enough, he was running directly into it and laughing hysterically. Now, he is like a magnet with water. You can't keep him out of it. Bring on the summer and the pool!

Trenton had the best time cooling off in the sprinkler.

Dodging the sprinkler.

Run to my Daddy, run to my Daddy!

Together they laugh before Trenton takes off to run back through it to Mommy.

Here I come Mommy, directly through it this time! He got braver as the time went on.

Mother's Day

Happy 2nd Mother's Day! What a blessing it is to be a Mother, especially to such a happy little boy like Trenton! I am thankful everyday for this time and gift, and I pray that I am the Mother God intended me to be. God bless all the Mothers!

Momma's little boy brings joy to every life he touches!

Trenton sure loves his Granna. It is not uncommon to see him reach out from one of us just to go to his Granna! They definitely have a special bond.

A wonderful Mother to us and a precious Granna to Trenton.

Granna found Mommy's bib from when she was a little girl. It said, "I love Mommy," and she pulled it out for the occassion. Although Mommy doesn't remember wearing it, she does remember putting it on her dolls (where it was found in a box) when she played house.

Wagers at the Wagers

This year the Wagers at the Wagers Kentucky Derby party was a small one. Nevertheless, we sure enjoyed spending the afternoon with our good friends, and we excited that Mommy's college friends Mary and Cheryl , our back neighbhor, and our family friends the Vasells could join in our festivities.

Trenton was excited to see Miss Mary.

Mrs. Angel shows off the cash she just won!

Trenton and Will enjoyed playing in the driveway. The driveway is a big hit at this age!

A Big No-No!

Somehow Trenton learned to use his rake to push the water button on the refrigerator. Yes, we knew he was curious about the spout because he always liked to watch you fill up cups with ice or water. Little did we realize the sound of rushing water would be our little man pushing the limits and figuring out how to work it on his own. Luckily, this ended right as it started.

Mr. Daredevil

We have a daredevil amongst us. Sudddenly Trenton has not only learned to climb objects, but learned to climp objects with a purpose. You cannot take your eye off of him for one instant!

Trenton climbed the stair block to reach the lightswitch.

Ooooh, look at Trenton dancing on his music table!
