Father's Day

Happy Father's Day, Kevin, Opa and PaPaw!  This was our first holiday with Bennett.  It was special to see both boys up on their Daddy's lap before we left for brunch at Granna and Opa's house.  We ate the infamous Three Cheese Puff (yum!) with fruit, biscuits and tomatoes.  After playing some, Trenton settled down to watch Wall-E (a robot movie) before we left for his nap.  Well, he slowly grew tired and in a matter of about a half hour progressed from his floor chair, to leaning on Daddy's arm, to sitting in Daddy's lap, to turning to lay his head on his shoulder.  Needless to say, we ended up letting Trenton nap at their house and headed home to our house with Bennett.  We were able to catch a little afternoon nap ourselves before meeting up with my parents to get Trenton back at a nearby park.  We ran around the playground enjoying the evening and then came home.  This is something Daddy is so good about--spending quality time with his boys!  Since it stays light later, we also got in a little park time with our neighbors the Smiths over a picnic dinner.  It was a nice, relaxing Father's Day and no one better than Kevin deserves this!
