Houseboating It for the 4th

We are excited to be back at the houseboat to celebrate the 4th of July!

 Chase and Trenton immediately hit the knee boards.

 It's awesome that they are only 9 months apart.  They have the best time together!

 Bennett anxious for his boat ride.  He loves the ski boat this year!

 When the sunset, the glow sticks came out.  Gigi and I both had the same idea here and the kids sure enjoyed them!

 This reminds me of times with my cousin Laura.  The cousins put on a show for everyone.

 Bennett's first time wake surfing with Daddy.  He was excited to try more out on the water.

 He loved being on Daddy's shoulders.  No splashes!

But was a little more apprehensive on the board where water could splash into his face.  He's still so little and at wave level.  Trenton has surfed with Daddy since before he was a year and a half.  To this day, he still loves it!

 However, Trenton pride and joy is skiing.  He is such a skier this summer.  He'd do it all day if we let him.

Bennett soon falls asleep thanks to the breeze and drone of the engine.  

 The boys love to get out GiGi's backgammon.  They don't play it, just love, love, love the dice and chips.

 Cruising as the sunsets is one of my favorite parts about being at the lake.

 Kevin and I have spent many 4ths at the houseboat.

 Hutch and Bennett relaxing in the tube.  I think they like it more on the top of the houseboat than in water. It's like a trampoline to them.

 The fireworks were beautiful above all the parked boats in the marina (dots at bottom are boats)

 It was a nice show!
