Valentine's Day Events

Valentine's Day falls on the weekend this year, so Trenton has his class party on Friday the 13th.  We had fun picking out items to give to his friends at school. Of course, Trenton fell in love with the Spiderman mask invitations.  They didn't do it for me, so I found an additional Pinterest idea.  "Sip, Sip Horray!  It's Valentine's Day" straws were given out as well.  He had a good time decorating his Valentine's box, too.

We were so excited to stop by to visit Granna and Opa that afternoon.  It was nice to just visit, and we gave them special presents, and of course, Granna had special baskets ready for them with all kinds of Valentine's Day goodies.

The following morning was Valentine's Day, so we woke and gave the boys a couple of simple presents.  Their real present was going to the circus and purchasing 1 special toy each from there, but they needed something small to unwrap, too.
Two Valentine's for Trenton's classmates.  Seriously, straws at Walmart come 6 for less than a dollar and the printable was free.  We'll probably do the same thing next year because we'll be in kindergarten at a different school.
We were lucky to fund a $3 box at Target.  Boy did it save me the time and hassle of wrapping a shoebox.  Trenton then decorated it with foam hearts and Valentine's tape.

Granna and Opa gave the boys a basket full of love, and the boys immediately got into everything!  Trenton-"I mustache you to be my Valentine!" with a lollipop and Bennett-"My eyes are on you, Valentine!" glasses.

We framed Trenton's "My Heart Belongs to Opa" artwork from last year.

Trenton's Valentine's Day present to daddy......a basketball!  Good luck wrapping that!
He actually did pretty good.  :)
 Ready to unwrap presents.
Kevin got me beautiful flowers and lava cake for dessert from Trader Joe's.  It's our favorite!
Displaying the love!
