River

Despite the cold, rainy weather, we had to get out!  (Daddy and Opa already had.  Daddy was golfing and Opa was fishing.)  So, Granna came over after shopping to go to the river with us.  We walked and burned some steam in between the rain showers.
 B baby bunting, Trenton's gone a hiking
The river was especially full this weekend.

Sirens

Storms were in our area.  Daddy was still at work, so when I heard the sirens and weather report that it was about to hit Marietta, we took up fort in the bathroom.  It wasn't as scary as before (I hadn't even grabbed the bicycle helmets.  You may laugh but they're supposed to be real safe!) because the meteorologist was not too intense, but nevertheless, I wasn't going to figure it out the hard way.  I told Trenton to grab some toys as I went upstairs to get the soundly sleeping baby out of his crib.  I came back to find Trenton with his pirate sword, a mixing bowl and pumpkin scoop.  :)  Luckily, the storms passed rather quickly, but the rest of the night Trenton kept wanting to go back into the bathroom.  He liked it in there.  Unfortunately, Bennett woke after 5 mins in the bathroom with a loud big brother, and then he was up for a good hour or two.....just a little disturbance in his sleeping schedule.  Haha!
Such a serious look.

Monday Afternoon

So when you're crawling, the dilema is how do you get your toys to the next place?  Bennett has the answer.  Hands are completely over rated.  Haha!
Did I mention our boys have a rock band?
Bennett is on the electric guitar.
 Trenton is on the drums.
Another hilarious one is B with the paci.  It is one of his new favorite toys.  He didn't like them as a baby, but they are great chew toys right now for a teething boy.

St. Patrick's Day

We love St. Patrick's Day....or should I say, I do?  Kevin and I ran a 5K downtown for St. Patrick's Day (Sat. before) and had a nice brunch just the two of us down in Piedmont Park.  (That's always nice to eat a meal out in peace!)  The boys were with the grands and having a blast playing outside.  Then, we hosted a neighborhood cookout Sunday afternoon.  Kevin grilled out a boston butt on the green egg and the kids played hard in the gorgeous weather.
 Kiss me.....
 ...I'm Irish
Bennett woke from his nap first.  He played inside while I finished the food.  I had to capture a pic or two with his St. Patrick's Day attire.  I knew he wouldn't leave it on long.
Trenton actually liked his green gear.  He claimed he was a bug buzzing around.  However, it didn't last long.  His knight costume was more appealing.
We are a boy heavy neighborhood.  Here are the boys.  It makes great playing fun!  They range from a year older than Trenton to Bennett's age.  Perfect playmates, that's for sure!

Helping Hands

Our little explorer, Bennett, is into everything these days....literally.  He got stuck dangling from the toy box because he tried to climb in it all by himself or get a toy out of reach.  Trenton to the rescue (or restroom as it sounds out of Trenton's mouth!)
Trenton helping Bennett out of the toy box.
We finally just put him in the dang thing because he wouldn't give up.  I remember Trenton liking being inside the toy box, too, around his age.
And apparently he still likes it.  :)

Washing is Contagious

Washing is contagious.  Trenton was super pumped about the sunny Saturday because he could once again wash cars.  He even convince Kevin to wash our cars while he washed his and Bennett's car.  It was fun and I came out of it with a clean jeep!  Woo hoo!
What a sweet brother!  Trenton not only washed his car, but he also washed Bennett's.
Bennett watched on from the sidelines.

Laughs

The boys keep me smiling.  Why is it that they always like to be under stuff and get into mischief?
 under the jumperoo......
 under the exersaucer....
Then Trenton wanted to create his own car wash.  He got the biggest kick out of washing his cozy coupe with a sponge and bucket of water.  Somehow he managed to find a Johnson and Johnson's travel size soap and used that to wash the car.
I didn't think it could get better, but it did.  He later moved his car inside the garage and hid it behind mine.  I couldn't exactly see what he was doing.  So, as I got up to walk over to him, he said, "Don't see what I'm doing, Momma, don't see."  My curiosity increased.  I responded that I wouldn't be mad.  To that he said, "Oh, you won't be mad.  Ok, come see.  Here, here."  I rounded the car, and what to my wondering eyes should appear but a car with bubbles poured all over it.  The empty bottles were stationed next to the car.  He had poured all his bubbled on his car.  He apparently wanted more bubbles and found a solution to his own problem.
