Trenton's baby prediction
Up until now , Trenton has never acknowledged if he thought the baby was a boy or girl. We've asked him a lot! I think that is because we usually word it sister or brother, two practically unknown concepts at this point. Well, Kevin informed me this morning that upon asking Trenton the question, he replied girl. But, he wants to name her Hank. Too funny not to blog about! We'll see if he is correct.

Generation Visit
We took our final trip before Baby #2 arrives to see Daddy's family in Franklin. We were excited that Trenton was going to be able to visit his great grandparents who were down from Indiana. The cousins had their usual fun together, and Trenton was extra delighted to play with his super hero cape Great Grandma had made.
Waffles for breakfast at Aunt Suzy's and Uncle Ryan's house.
The ball was tons of fun for Trenton boy!
What would we do without ipads?
All three were dressed for bed as their favorite characters. Riley had on a princess nightgown, Trenton had on his Woody pajamas, and Chase wore Mickey Mouse.
Trenton loved running around like superman. We think he got the pose from Buzzlightyear on Toy Story because we never showed him. He had his hands on those hips, lips pursed, and the stare of a real hero. He would not take the cape off!
Super Trenton!
Flying around the yard!
Then, the stance again!
Wagon ride time!
All the cousins together for their first picture and last picture as four. Next time we see them, there will be a fifth to the bunch.
A first, second, third, and fourth generation picture.

"I Help!"
"I help!" From laundry, to cooking, to even using the bathroom, we hear these words constantly. It is funny when it comes out of the blue toward something that was done last week. Trenton threw out the "I help!" one night after his bath. Not knowing exactly what he was talking about, he grabbed his Handy Manny screw driver, made Daddy put the headlamp on his head, opened the kitchen cabinet sink, crawled on in and began to "work" on the drain. Random--which made it even cuter! Kevin had worked on the sink about a week ago when it was leaking and our little helper Trenton observed it all. He'd hand Daddy the tools as they were needed and watch every move he made. Guess it was Trenton's turn this night!

St. Patrick's Day
We planned to have our 2nd annual St. Patty's Day party in the park in our neighborhood. Several families were coming over to join us, but unfortunately, we canceled the event not knowing if Trenton's hives from the end of the week were contagious. Of course, once again, he seemed perfectly fine all day long. Better safe than sorry.
Needless to say, we got out some of our party toys and let Trenton play with the green items in honor of St. Patrick's Day. He liked that. We also took him to nearby East Cobb park for a change in scenery. Once we were back home, our next door neighbors saw us out playing and decided to join us. They knew he had previously been sick, but we both felt whatever he had or reacted to was out of his system since he hadn't been on the benedryl all day and had had no hives. (It is so hard to keep these best friends apart when they see or hear each other playing!) They are truly best buds!

Green bubble wands.....
Green recorders.....(or flutes as Trenton calls them)
Climbing all by myself.
At the top and looking down at us.
Trenton braves the big boy slide.
He I come!
Boy was that fun!
Time for slide racing with Daddy.
They would race JoJo, another boy who befriended Trenton at the playground.
Here is a better glance at the big boy slides Trenton now enjoys.
Trenton goes down the twisty one now.
The girl in front of him we think had a "crush" on Trenton. She kept wanting him to follow her.
Trenton caught eye of JoJo's Buzz Lightyear 4 wheeler and there was no keeping him off it!
Back home with his best friend, Rylan.
Trenton, Rylan, and his little brother Kellan.
Bye Rylan.....see you tomorrow! (Aren't they precious together?!)

Cute When Sick
Trenton had a fun, all-boy day outside playing in the yard. He went from activity to activity until he was worn out. Look at all his fun......
You never would have know we were home sick. Trenton had been to the urgent care the night before with severe hives and then to the doctor's office this morning. The culprit was not fully determined, but as you can see, the hives were covering most of his trunk area. An ear infection was discovered by the doctor, but it was minor and not appearing to effect him quite yet. We decided to hold on the prescription. Benedryl and Claritan seemed to do the trick with the hives after a day in his system.

Baby #2
Baby #2 went through his/her first photo session today. Through a little shaking of the belly and twisting from one side to the other, we got this little peanut (well, not so much of a peanut anymore....a rutabaga according to babybump.com) to cooperate. Although we took thirty-something pictures, below are some of our favorite 3/4D images. The baby weighs about 2 1/2 lbs and measures just over a foot. Everything appears healthy at this point, so we feel very blessed.
Big Brother Trenton knows the baby is on his/her way, too, but to what extend, who knows. He has acknowledged there is a baby in Mommy's tummy since we told him when I was 2 months into the pregnancy. When I was 5 months along, he suddenly would stick his belly out and walk. Opa and I got a kick out of it during one of our Wednesday afternoons at the tennis courts and playground in their neighborhood. He just started running like that and saying, "Mommom, Mommom!" (That was what he called me for a few months there.) It pretty much let us know he got the "growing belly" part. More recently, he asks me to carry him back from the park by our house. Our conversation goes like this:
"Carry me."
"I can't, Trenton."
"Oh, baby?"
"That's right, because of the baby."
(He pats my tummy.) "Hurt? I know....doc....doc..."
Then I burst out laughing at his innocence!
He understands so much, and obviously, he attends my doctor visits to obtain this information that Mommy goes to the doctor for the baby. It definitely helps that good ol' Granna is there to keep him entertained (aka show off her grandson!) while I see Dr. Street.
However, randomly Trenton points to his own belly and says, "baby" so there is some misconception there, too. :) Regardless, we know Trenton will love meeting his new sibling and it is hard to believe he/she will make his/her appearance in less than 2 1/2 months! The day will be here before we know it! We anxiously await this newest addition to our family and know the joy he/she will bring will be indescribable!
Boy or girl? You decide!
Sucking the thumb.
The hands were up at almost all of Trenton's ultrasounds, and Baby #2 is no different. Even his/her fists and hands are adorable....yes, I know we are partial! :)

Sticker Club
A friend introduced us to the sticker club. You have probably seen the recipe "club" where people send you an email asking you to attach one recipe, move their name from #2 to #1, and then forward the email to 6 of your friends. Well, sticker club works off the same concept. In the end, the children could possible get 36 packs of stickers from only sending one pack to another child.
Trenton has enjoyed checking the mailbox in the afternoons for his mail. He opens it and is delighted in the stickers inside. He likes to immediately pull them off and stick them to himself or nearby items. It is a fun routine for him (and me) right now. Wonder what is going to happen when the stickers stop? Guess I will have him open some junk mail and I'll play off how exciting it is because it is a treasure map! (By the way, all cards, flyers, etc are treasure maps according to this 2 year old with the biggest imagination ever!)
